Small Bales
Depending on the size of the semi, we can usually fit between 600-800 two string bales per load. If you receive a load of this size it will be packaged in 21 bale bundles and able to unload with most tractor implements. You're reponsible for unloading the shipment in 2 hours or less. Three Strand Bales
All three strand hay is shipped in from out of state. For that reason shipping has to be flexible on the unloading date. There are approximately 360-484 bales on the semi depending on the truck size avaliable at the time of order. Occasionally we have loads available that are in budles of 14 and can be unloading with bale spears if a grapple isn't available. You're reponsible for unloading the shipment in 2 hours or less. 3x3x8 Bales
3x3x8 bales typically weigh between 750-950lbs depending on type. There are between 48-63 bales per semi load on a truck depending on the truck avaliable at the time of ordering. Large Bales
The largest bales we ship are 3x4x8, and round bales. These shipments will sometimes be sold by the ton if we do not have a good idea on the bales current weights. A load of this size will usually come with 28-38 bales. Keep in mind the bales at times can weigh up to 2,000lbs and to make sure the tractor you have on site to unload is capable of that.
